Citrine Crystal Clarity
This is my very first post on my very first blog. This blog will be about my adventure down the rabbit hole and what happens when I get there. As all stories need a beginning, mine starts with a citrine crystal. And I might add, this is my real life, I promise.
I walked into the crystal shop downtown Kelowna called Bones and Stones. In front of the shop are 2 large real to life dinosaurs and inside there are more replicas, fossils, minerals and crystals. This is to be my first crystal. I actually don't know what I will walk out with, my instincts tell me Ill know it when I see it. I have no knowledge of crystals and their benefits but I intend to learn.
My husband and two children are with me. I have a girl and a boy aged 9 and 6. Everyone is loving the experience I am showing them and experiencing it myself for the first time. I could spend hours in here, most things are behind glass and its looking only. The help is on the phone and continues to be on the phone for quite a while. I look at my husband and son, sparkles in both their eyes as they carefully look at everything, pointing out which ones they like to each other. My daughter digging through some pocket stones and pyramids, kind of a loner. I am mostly interested in the crystal jewelry. There is so much to look at. I'm deciding what I'm going to ask the lady to retrieve for me when she gets off the phone. Through the glass and darkened shelves I am trying to be interested in the rose quartz. Trying to decide which one. At last the lady is off the phone and comes over to help. She looks like a crystal helper. I asked her to bring out a tray so I could take a look at a certain rose quartz necklace and check the price on these things. When she brings out the tray, something immediately catches my eye and I love it right then. An amethyst cut so beautifully. Its oval with silver around it and its cut like a diamond or something. Its 90 dollars and huge and I'm getting it. And then I see something else I might even like more. Although I don't know it yet, its a citrine in the rough with a cut version of the same crystal just above and attached. What is that! This is 90 dollars too. I'm leaning towards the citrine and I look at the amethyst and decide for myself I'm walking out with 2 crystals that day. I feel so curious as to what is going to happen to me now I cant wait to put them on and see.
